A 7 year old kid came to me with history of grossly dilated veins in his leg. It was first observed when he was 5years old which has been gradually progressive ever since. He was asymptomatic except for some vague pain in the leg while running. His parents were mainly worried about the cosmetic aspect of his leg . On consulting with our genetics expert we came to a diagnosis of KT syndrome  (Klippel Trenauny Syndrome). KT syndrome is a rare disorder affecting your veins, skin and other vessels.Chances of recurrence are very high. Plan was to perfom LASER surgery combined with Sclerotherapy. Post surgery the kid is under my follow up for 2years now with no signs of recurrence.
